Offset Printing done digitally
Our Indigo E-Print TurboStream makes real offset printing in small quantities a reality.

The E-Print is different from all other digital printing machines, including all the models from Xerox, Agfa, Canon and Minolta.

Instead of using powder toner and applying it directly to the paper with heat and oil, the E-Print is built around a conventional offset press with a imaging plate, a special blanket and conventional impression cylinder.

Unlike the other photocopier machines it is a real offset press. It differs from a conventional press in that it uses a laser imaging head and a special PIP (photo impression plate) instead of a conventional plate. This plate is laser imaged fresh for every impression. As a result there is no film, plates or conventional makeready delays and charges.
